The best spirulina flake in my opinion would have to be Kenfish's Premium Spirulina Max Flake.

You're welcome, and good luck with Sulawesi Cardinals! (I mean good luck in a good way kind of tone, not the mocking way like.. "Pfft, heh! Good luck trying to breed them.. they may die on ya haha too bad")

Lol Anyway, I've kept mine in pretty good shape so far and they are breeding well for me. Just got them several months ago. So far, so good. Their red colors are spectacular, amazing, and simply really beautiful with the blue dots.. Two words. Eye candy. They are awesome shrimp species to have. If you get them again, you have to make sure your water parameters, temperature, quality and good food are all in check to their liking this time around to keep them healthy and going strong; also, they are territorial and a bit skittish shy too, so to feed them, you have to crush sinking shrimp foods or other kinds of food into powder so it is well spread over in-tank. Have a good one.

yeah the tank i had them in wasnt fully cycled i believe was the issue but either way my neons are doing well and i plan to get a 20g tank for the cardinals and going to do it right, with inert substrate and lots of rocks/plants in due time lol thats my next project is a cardinal tank after my yellow neos do well

what is your set up for them like substrate wise etc, i already have salty shrimp 7.5 for them that i bought for the previous batch that ill re use of course

A small layer of florida crushed coral on the bottom to buffer my pH from 7.6 to about 7.8-8.0, some decoration caribsea peace river gravel and torpedo beach sand on top. I use big river rocks stacked on top of each other. I grow water primrose, and dwarf crypts in the tank. Temperature is 82 degrees.. have to make sure it doesn't drop too much. And I use Salty Shrimp 7.5 too.

Welcome again. Looking forward to seeing pics of your cardinal shrimp tank if you decide to get them one day.
