Cardinals have stoped dying. Now what?
Yes my Cardinals have stoped dying. I've had 10 survivors for the past three days. Now what am I goimg to do with them? I affraid to put one of my Angels in the qurantine tank to see if it gets sick but there's no way I'm going to put those fish into my tank without making sure they aren't carrying something. Oh ya and since there's only ten left, they're not schooling!

Do you know what killed them? If you know, or think you know, or have a ton of meds to dump in, you can treat for everything (turn up the temp a little to speed up parasites' metabolisms) and wait the length of the lifecycle of a typical disease and then a little longer. It's a bit of a gamble if you don't know why they died. (Fishy autopsy possible?)

I spoke with the people I got my Angelfish from. They stated often with farm raised fish it's the new tank that kills them. He was saying that [the Cardinals] were probably raised with U/V sterilization, when they get to our tanks the colonized bacteria, viruses whatever they can't fight them off. His fear and mine is Angelfish decease. The Cardinals could be carrying it! I believe I will order more Cardinals (from Foster and Smith they have a two week guarantee)
