I lived on the columbia river in WA, 30 miles from lake Chelan and 45 miles from Moses lake. Beautiful area.

I haven't ever experienced humidity yet since I grew up in the deserts of Washington, it'll be fun this summer in Southern TN.

The last summer I lived in Redding, 2003, we tied some place in the Middle East for the hottest place in the world for most of a week! I feel your pain! Although I'd take 110 and 0% humidity to 98 & 50-60% humidity! I say that, but I don't mind the humidity too much.

Even better, the lakes out there stay fairly cool most of the summer. I basically used to live at Whiskeytown.

Well, it only hit 110 again today. I'm beginning to regret the black leather in my car. My butt is paying for it. Lol

100% humidity and hit 92 degrees today, and that's only the beginning. Dry heat beats hot and humid any day.

I worked in Jeddah, KSA, many years ago and the hottest temp I have experienced in that place was about 55 Celsius. I hang laundry and dried in less than 30 minutes.

Dear Lord, give me dry heat over this 94-degree-66-percent-humidity heat any day! That and we've been under tornado watch for about 3 days now -_- It just keeps storming. Every. Single. Day!

Agreed. I absolutely hate the humidity. Even just a bit of it makes me uncomfortable.

Welp. Torando warning came and went. Almost 82,000 homes without power, but worst of all a little boy died at one of our more upscale city parks. A tree fell on top of him and another man who I presume was his father. For whatever reason, they chose to take cover underneath a large tree that is positioned next to a creek during the severe storm. With three days of rain and hard winds I am sure the roots just gave way. The injured man is at the hospital now, but the 4 y/o boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Not trying to be a debby downer or anything but the community, my self included, is shocked!

I know I'm in trouble when it's still this warm this early in the morning.

Supposed to be like 113 with 30 percent humidity so its going to feel like 119

LOL. So... instead of just feeling like 119 today, it just got that hot. This is bs.

It varied a bit on the way home from work but 119 was as hot as is got during the drive. It's only 116 at home.
