Cool stuff! What strain of Endler's specifically and what ratio?
Snakeskin coloration, unsure if there is a particular name for the strain. Originally it was one male 2 females and about 12 fry. Some are still coloring up, but I have 405 additional males from the fry.

I have 80lbs of arogonite that I don't want to deal with. I hear it's good for cichlids. I have recently adopted 10 ghost shrimp that I love to watch. If they berry I may have some to get rid of. I'll keep in touch.
Let us know when you're back.

Nice stuff. But is 405 a typo for 4-5? :p

Default shrimp berries

aaaand I have a berried ghost shrimp. Funny how I mentioned it on here and BAM! As I told the wife though, they are on their own. If they survive the other inhabitants so be it. I don't feel like digging the quarantine tank out of storage and cycling it.

If you've gotten it once, you'll probably get it a dozen times! Congrats man!

Hello my name is Mike, getting back into the hobby after sometime off. I'm going to try planted freshwater tanks, never have before. Right now I have a 12 gallon biocube setup for just about 2 months now, bad green water problem going on with it at this time. And my real project is my other tanks I have which are 33g long, 20g long and 10g fry tank. I'm starting off easy and trying to breed swordtails, what kind of swordtails you ask? Well i'm going to try 5 female koi swordtails along with a painted swordtail male in hopes of getting some showa swordtails somewhere along the line. Here's a few pics of my setup in progress

And this is what i'm hoping to breed.....

I hope this works out for you because I would buy some from you once they get established. I have a fairly established plant/fish/shrimp tank and it is very lowtech (no Co2 and flourescent lights) my ludwigia, java fern and melon sword are doing awesome. My curly bamboo not as good. If you want plants Drs Foster and Smith have a good site to find easy to care for plants as does Petsmart.

Awesome Mike I have a few plants that are doing decent so far in my 12g biocube, I have java fern, amazon sword, and anubias. Wondering do you give your plants any kind of nutrients? I just started dosing flourish and flourish excel and then funny that's when my green water algae problem started......

alot of the same plants I have, no I let the fish poop do the job for nutrients and they are growing and flourishing nicely. I've had a few bad leaves here and there but just trimmed them out. I've heard the bloom will come then pass and never come back again. I had it bad and my nitrates went through the roof. After a few days it cleared up and haven't had an issue since.

Default 30g long

I love that 30g long, I'll have to find one once I get relocated.

yeah I caught that after I posted. That would be an excellent shrimp tank with some moss balls and grass.
