any advice for hc
12 gal tank ah 36 w light water param perfect pressurized co2 . No algae everythine else grows like weeds have to trim weekly but i cant get HC to grow i have a few clumps spread across the front of the tank with nothing shading it but its not grown or spread in 2 months on the plus side its living and not floating to the surface .
Any advice .

I've heard people not being able to grow it in flourite due to the size. I had it growing well in flourite until clado took over and I had to pitch it. It did sit and do nothing for about a month, but it more than doubled a couple months after that.

what ever the best substarte is i could bout that in the front of the tank to get it going?

You could try a little sand at the front of the tank. That may help it root and spread better.
