Question

is this enough light


i was wondering if this will be enough light for my 20 gallon soon to be planted tank

CADLIGHTS

i was going to buy this buy would like opions please

I would think so. I would use 3wpg. That is a little less but should be ok,.

At least to me, that seems a little bit pricey. Have you looked into the compact fluorescents offered by ah supply? Here's a link. You may want to look into the 2x36 kit- it's cheaper and more effective. Just my opinion though.

im not qite sure the light fixture from the link you posted will fit my tank its a 20 gallon custom glass rimless tank do you think the fixtures from there will work for a rimless tank ??

Ah, I was concerned that you had a rimless.. Unfortunately, those lights have to be retro-fitted, as they have no means of attaching to the side of the aquarium. If this is the case, then perhaps you should consider either finding a housing that would support the cfs or just go with your initial idea. How unfortunate...

im almost sure that the cadlights fixture will be enough light i has 4 bulbs and its for planted tanks or reef tanks so i think it will be enough light :0)
