Blizzard conditions. We are expecting it to snow till about 10:00pm. We should eight more inches of snow. It would be a great day to trim some plants...but it is a better day to look out the windows and do nothing!

How about some storm shots from you other North Easterners??

Mike

Oh yeah! There are cars on the road. Even in a blizzard there is traffic in North Jersey!

Not too bad in the Hudson Valley yet, but it's far from over. The roads are insanely slick.

I miss the snow =( It's so peaceful and serene. It's been in the high 60's here lately. I can't wait to visit my parents in three weeks. Of course, all the snow will be melted by then. My wife has never seen real snow. It snowed here once, an inch or so, and melted by 9am.

gulf, some of us actually yearn for snow simply because the winter is so much colder if there is hardly any snow. the snow really is great insulation around a house's foundation.

but peaceful and serene? most definately!

(i could send some your way in a few weeks, in exchange for some anubias...)

It is snowin like crazy here right now ! All the tracks I made in the yard earlier today are completely gone just about. I had a pack of 6 snowmobiles go by the house earlier and I must have seen 6 other quads on the road as well. Aint seen a car in over 2 hours... LOL

Looks like we picked up almost 10" in my part of the state. The road in front is clear and dry in some parts. Our first storm was a good one!

Buck that looks like fun!

There were 2 1/2' drifts in my mother's driveway. Thank heavens for snowthrowers!
BTW, is that a shot of you by your "driftwood" source?

I HATE SNOW!!!!!!!!!I'm from NYC queens and oh man, I had a flat tire from the snow(don't ask me how) I had to ride it and then the tire fell off the rim. On top of that I tried to change the tire and put the spare on, one of the lug nuts is stripped now I have to wait till Monday morning to see if the auto shop is open.
