I agree too, don't sacrifice the PAR.

I'd be interested in the 12" one for my nano 12" cube. Look forward to these!

That's a great looking light!

Recently acquired a couple of Ray2s, and I'm quite pleased with them as they are, but RGB LEDs and a moonlight mode might ... just ... make ... them ... almost ... perfect.

do not drop 30", almost all of my tanks are that length (20L, 29, 30B). also, I too prefer the look of the 10k/7k older version, with some RGB added in. drop the moonlights, I dont use them at all, and replace with 7k or RGB for more par. i have 10 of your fixtures already, but like the monsteray/ray2 combo best. i also have your competitors lights (current + and buildmyLED) and really like what RGB's do color temp wise. i have been adding a coralife T5NO colormax to supplement the Finnex and it does wonders for plant growth and color.

As for the moonlights, it would be useful if it has a separate wire/plug for plugging on timers. 1 plug for blue, and 1 plug for 7k/red or at least 1 plug for blue/red and 1 plug for 7k/red,. A button for each color all on just one single wire/plug is useless. MOST of us don't bother with the ON/OFF Switch, we set these fixtures on a timer. Moonlights comes on when Daylights off on a timer.

Fugeray CONS: blue moonlight is useless when the fixture is plug on a timer. There is no moonlight when daylight go out on a timer.

I'm running a FugeRay 20" and FugeRay2 30" and a FugeRay2 24" all on timers. I'd rather skip the blue light in favor of more PAR or just cheaper hardware.

Gawd they are great lights and seeing the Plant+ model makes it a real want for me. The type of want that becomes a need.

I find the FugeRay2 a little harsh for my tetra tank and looking at that Plant+ think it might look better (warmer).

If I ran the world, there would be a true 30" fixture, rather than a 24" fixture in a 30" housing. But that's just me, and I am but one man with a 30" aquarium.

the 30" Fugeray covers the 30", only the Ray2 is a 24 in a longer housing

Any chance you could sell the timer and dimmer units separately from the light? This way the light itself could be at a lower price point but for those who want extras can buy them separately?

Default ULTIMATE PLANT LED: Finnex FugeRAY Planted+ LED ...coming soon

The ultimate planted tank led specs IMO:
- two channels: cool white and warm white or just reds
- dimmer for each channel. Programmed on the light unit. Or inline - goal is minimal cables ie one from light to behind tank

Early am - Dim up warm light with reds
Day - dim to full spectrum
Late eve - dim down to reds or warm light

Night - very low dim of white light - cool or warm

That sounds cool to me. Just a thought.
