Question

I have a question

If a tank carry the bad disease, will that disease affects to the filter media which is running as well? Do I have to completely clean the fiter, replace a new filter media and bio wheels? Or it has nothing to do with the filter part? Please share your thought.

When I say disease in the fish tank, such as ich, ect...

Some medicines can kill biofilter. Some filter materials (carbon) can remove medicines from the water.

If you're dealing with a disease, I would post specifically about what is going on with your tank and it's inhabitants rather than a generic question. You're more likely to get those helpful responses.
