75G Demasoni/Lab Setup...

Thought someone may be interested in seeing what my 75G planted was turned into awhile back. Nice and easy maintenance.

It looks nice although I would suggest changing the substrate to a lighter color. Possibly the sand that ADA uses, it'll add some light into the tank and actually make your rocks stand out better. Other than that the plants looks nice and healthy!

That is a beautiful tank. I like the dark substrate/rocks/background, it really makes the fish and plants stand out. What kind of lighting do you have on the tank?

I love the look of the tank and how the dark substrate actually compliments the fishes in your tank. Very neat and simple also.

Are you still using C02 and ferts?

Lighting is 220W of AH Supply (2 10000K and 2 9325K). No CO2 or ferts. Just one weekly 30% WC.

I wish I had as good a luck with the fish as I have with the plants. I have lost about 12 fish in the last 3 months and these fish are not cheap.

That's a nice setup. I have labs and demasoni in a 45, but I also have some larger cichlids in there too (M. areus eg). My anubias and java fern get chewed up quite a bit with that bunch.

What substrate are you using and what light setup? Any CO2?

Also what are the plants in the back right?

Substrate is 3M Colorquartz T grade. The plants in the back are Sag. Platyphylla, but I'm not 100% sure on that. There is also some Giant Val mixed in but it was being eaten so fast that it didn't have a chance to grow. There is also a C. Balansae and C. Retrospiralis hidden in there.

One of the most unique tanks I have seen in a long time. I particularly like the sag in the background.
