java fern plantlets wont grow

I have tried attaching java fern plantlets to driftwood, tried tieing them to crafting mesh, tried planting in the substrate (rizome out). Nothing works.

When tied to driftwood or stuffed into a crack in in, they dont die or grow. What am I doing wrong?

Java fern is grow very slow . You did not do anything wrong . It can not grow fast as other plants , that's why people sell it very expensive on eBay and other website

yeah let it fall off naturally, otherwise I find they grow outrageously slow
