low light 37 gallon tank
could I grow anything with a single 65 watt CF bulb over a 30X12X22 tank? It would have no CO2, and would be very low tech...for this tank, i want plants not only for aesthetic reasons, but also for nutrient reasons. I was thinking anubias, java fern and maybe some cryptocoryne species. would a single bulb be too little on a deep tank?
thanks |

The species you mention there should grow fine with that kind of lighting.

I grow moneywort, water wisteria, water sprite, frill, rotala indica, and java fern in my 37 with a 55w CF bulb. It's in an AH Supply retrofit, however. That makes a difference.
