C02 Diffusers
The one I received with my C02 system is crap. Not only did it come chipped in several places it also produced large bubbles through the ceramic disc once it was repaired. Can anyone recommend a quality diffuser?

Eheim makes a good diffuser IMO. Anything with a removable ceramic disk so you can clean it.

I just bought an ADA Beetle 30 from ADGshop.com and received it this afternoon. If it works as well as it looks, I'll be a happy man.

Nice to enter my first thread. I bought a few diffusers before, but some does not always perform as I expected.

i bought a small ada reactor, and as much as i figured i was probably paying for designer glassware (form over function) it works really well... bubbles are very small. the only problem is that the stem on them is hard to slide on the clippard poly tubing.

I run Clippard tubing to the check valve, and then silicone to the diffuser. Mike |

isn't silicone lossy, though? i thought that's why the poly tubing was used. or is the distance between check valve and diffuser short enough so that the loss is negligable?

ADA is the best out there in my experience.
CHeck out Aquaforest Aquarium in SF they have a nice selection, but bring your checkbook... You could also build a reactor depending on how you have the tank set up and how large it is. |

I recently got a new Plant Guild reactor and so far I love it! It really gets the CO2 into water without over gassing, and it cleans up in a snap.
