Room for indish dwarf mudskipper


Hello all. I really love mudskippers. I have a 14,26 gallon tank. Can I have some indish dwarf mudskippers in it.

I really hope you can help.

I believe I've heard that one can keep 2 indian mudskippers in a 20 gallon, though I can't be positive.

They need brackish water. Two in a 20 gallon would be fine, the Indians aren't as aggressive as the other species. You may see some flaring but that should be it. Be sure to provide ample space out of water which is where they will spend most of their time. And multiple spots for them to claim territories to reduce any possible fighting. Please do your research before you decide to get these little guys as they need much different care than normal fish. I hope you do get them though, they are so cool! I know that they need brackish water, but can a nomal aquarium take brackish warter.
Is 14 gallon enuogh or dó I need 20?

Yes a normal aquarium and filter can do brackish water. But some heaters can't so make sure you have the proper heater. Use the 20 for sure, the more space the better.

Okay, then it's not going to be mudskippers. I dont hve the space for a 20 gallon, but thanks for the answers.
