I feel like something is missing ...

This is my tank currently and I just feel like something is off ... I will be upgrading soon but I plan to keep a similar layout.

If it were my tank, I'd take out the small rock and fill that corner up with plants. I like the wood and betta. It's a nice start.

There is no rock ... Do you mean the log hide in the right corner? My snail loves that thing lol.

I will probably pick up a few bundles of plants. especially since I am upgrading

Oh! The first time I took a quick look and thought it was a rock. Sorry.
I'm more of a one large focal point with lots of plants type of person.

LOL I originally had black substrate .. but when I switched tanks I decided on the white ... problem is , This tank is fully cycled, I cant afford to switch out substrate.

I do agree I like having a focal point but I also feel with those fins my betta may need a place to rest, Every fish needs a little getaway place

I am looking at some hornwort and maybe some anacharis,

The current plant list is just crypts, anubias, Java fern and java moss
