shale87's 20 gallon long

I decided to upgrade my 5.5G aquarium to a 20L, so I'd have more room for fish and 'scaping.

Aquarium: 20G, 30"x12"x12"
Equipment: Top Fin 20 filled with Purigen
Aquaclear 20
Aqueon 50w heater
32w CFL (temporary until Finnex FugeRay 30 arrives)
Substrate: About 2 handfuls of peat moss sprinkled on the bottom, Seachem Flourite and CaribSea Floramax mix, CaribSea sand
Additives: Seachem Flourish and Excel, root tabs

Fauna:
2 Otocinclus vittatus
8 Tanichthys albonubes (White Cloud Mountain Minnows)
3 Tanichthys albonubes sp. long fin (Long-finned White Cloud Mountain Minnows)
15? Olive Nerite Snails

Flora:
Mondo Grass
Dwarf Hair Grass
Weeping Moss
Water Sprite
Water Wisteria
Green Cabomba (trying to revive...)
Echinodoris var. (trying to revive...)
Java fern (possibly Narrow Leaf?)
Crypt - from Petsmart, can't remember which kind
Rotala colorata (from fingfangfun)

Here it is in the beginning. Just threw some plants in there.

Clear water! Transferred a few fish. Didn't plant the Rotala cuttings very well initially.

There's not much of a scape right now, mainly because I'm waiting on my Manzanita driftwood to come in. Once that arrives I'll figure out how I want to arrange it in my tank then arrange the plants around it.

Here's my wishlist of what I'd like to add to my tank over time:
Zebra otos! Assuming they aren't a lot more than regular otos, at least. I have 2 otos now, so maybe 5?
Some other small schooling fish (looking at Sparkling Gourami, Celestial Pearl Danio, Spotted Blue-eye)
Red Cherry Shrimp
More plants!

Where do you plan on putting the driftwood?

I'll probably have it more on the right side, so I'll be shifting plants around to make room for it. I'll definitely be taking a ton of pics of different positions before I decide though.

I took a bunch of pictures of my fish today but only a few came out good. These guys never stay still long enough to get a good shot! haha Oh well, I'll just keep taking pictures so my odds of getting a good shot will increase.

I just found out that Mondo Grass is not actually an aquatic plant...Is there an aquatic plant that looks similar, ie tall and grass-like?

Finally! An update! My niece came to visit for almost a month, so I'd been just throwing any new plants I got into my tank. It got pretty crazy looking until I finally had time to plant things.

Changes as of 5/11 (will update newer stuff later):
Finnex Fugeray
Manzanita branches from PC1
Fauna:
Lost 2 Long-finned White Clouds. They were pretty sickly looking when I got them, but thankfully the last one seems to be doing just fine.
Lost 1 Otocinclus.
Flora:
Fissidens fontanus from idex
Ludwigia arcuata from Bryanmc1988

Manzanita! I was so excited when these came in.

I am really glad I decided to go with the Finnex Fugeray! It makes my tank look so good!
