New Dark Blue Velvets!

So yesterday i received a shipment of Dark Blue Velvets from soothing and just wanted to share with my fellow shrimpers! I could not be happier with these shrimp, they look like little gem stones running around my tank! They really are stunning, and at such a young age, i cant wait to see how they fill in! Anywho, onto everyones favorite....THE PICTURES! Happy Shrimping

I've always wondered how they'd look on vid. I just can't get close enough without the picture blurring on my camera. LOL

Like this? (can't figure out how to embed the link) To my defense, she lost quite a bit of colour when berried.

Beautiful. What are the greens you are feeding? Spinach? I've tried spinach, green bean, zuchinni and my CRS just don't go to it.... at a loss.

You may have to starve them some for them to try it and like it. Kinda like forcing your kid to try something to find out if he likes it. heh

Thanks Doublet!

-And that is fresh baby spinach. I boil it for about 3 minutes, then put it immediately into ice water, and serve! lol if i dont blanch it like that, they wont touch it. Same with kale.

Thanks Nick! I'll always be refining them, but I'm liking my DBV strain well enough to start offering them now.

I'm also grateful to Ryan for posting these pics. I wish I had a camera as good as you guys have!

Thanks Aluka, but I love the opaqueness of the BD as well. Just different varieties, that's all.
