WNC club/swap meet?

I don't know if I'm stuck up here in the mountains alone, but would like to start a local club/swap meet. Do you live in wnc or local states?(S.C.,TENN,N.C.)
If this sounds like a good ideal, please, post here or send me a p.m.

I don't know Kevin , that driftwood looks like you paid a lot for it..
well, Kevin , I paid over 2 bills for it , but i dropped it . now i have 3 cool pices of it and i have been after that plant for a long time.
why don't you just get some on line??
well, i don't have pay pal ......most people that have it wont take cash or m.o.
in that case i think we can trade....

I'm in asheville. Only one i know around here. LFS look at me like i'm nuts when I tell them I have a planted tank!

If your still looking to start a swap group or something along that lines, please sent me a pm.

Have you been to asheville aquarium?The plants are not that good, but its a good lfs to get the rest of what we need.

I live in the triad, about 160 miles from Asheville. Wouldn't make it a regular thing but would be able to make it a part of a trip when the weather cools off a bit. I'd probably make a 2 day trip and enjoy the scenery. Are there any cheap camp grounds for tenting nearby?

Hiya everyone,

I'm also an asheville local. Don't acctually have a tank to speak of at the moment but I'm working on that part. It really is nice to know that there are people around here that like this kinda stuff too. Maybe a meet-n-chat may be in order at some point for what few of us there are.

I am about and hour and a half out but I might be in if there is enough interest. I wouldn't be a regular thing by any means with gas at $3 a gallon.

I am opening an LFS in Black Mountain, just 6 miles from the old "Everything Fishy" store location in Asheville. I plan on carrying a lot of aquatic plants, please let me know what you'd like to see in my (soon to open) store. I'd also be open to having some swaps at my location if that would be convenient for anyone.
