Electric blues laid eggs again! Woohoo

Came home from work today to find another batch of eggs in my electric blue ram tank. Hopefully Monday I'll have wigglers.

Ah congrats, I had the same thing happen a while back and the father ate them all once they became fry.

Best of luck.

This is only the second batch. I have had them for only two weeks. Compared to my sterbai, so far they're much easier to trigger a spawn. I just feed them heavy for two days and do a water change.

I have them in a 25 gallon. There's 5 electric long fin and 3 furcata rainbowfish. Thy all play nice together so far. The odd female ram may need to go eventually but we will see how that plays out.

Well, they ate the eggs at some point last night. I had a little chat with them and they promised me not to cannabilize their young next time. They may have eaten them because I was watching the season finale of "The Walking Dead" last night. They can see the television from their tank. Lol
