Request Recommmendation for Fish/Animal that eats Guppy Fry

I have too many guppy fry and am considering adding a peaceful community fish that can reduce the fry population. I also have a booming fire red cherry shrimp population and would not mind losing a few shrimplets if necessary.

Right now I have a 20 gallon tank housing 8 neon tetras, the guppy pair, one Oto, a few dozen shrimp and about 30-40 guppy fry.

Hence, I would like recommendations on adding another fish/animal that would be compatible with my current fish that could help me keep the guppy population in check.

Would a Dwarf African Frog eat fry? Would such a frog be okay in an open top tank?

Thanks.

We had an angelfish that loved them.

Just remember that anything that can hunt guppy fry will likely realize that shrimp are an easier target at some point in its life, if you don't care about your shrimp though that's no big deal, I'd go with an angel (only if its a 20H), or any type of killi.

An opaline or gold gourami would probably work, although they might irritate the shrimp - mine like to knock the snails off all the plants. But they are mindless eaters and won't stop until there are no fry left.

A betta would do the job as well, although if the guppies are fin nippers, they could really stress one out.

If you really want to feed the fry to something, I'd suggest any medium sized cichlid and then just dump all the fry into that tank.

What about a Ropefish, they love a planted tank and can be somewhat slow picky eaters. I have seen them used as a main predator in a self sustaining tank before
