Tall background plants???
Hi all,
I'm after advice on what plants would work best in the background of my tank. I've got a fluval Roma 200L community tank. Tetratec ex1200 filter. Ph 7.6 from the tap. I've just got bog standard aquarium gravel with root tabs under it. I dose with trace ferts & have the standard 30w t8 lights(x2). Any advice is greatly appreciated. Cheers |

Find a stem plant you like... Cabomba, Rotala, etc.

If you want grass like plants, you can use Cyperus helferi, Crypt spiralis, Crypt retrospiralis, Blyxa aubertii, some Isoetes species are also tall.

I've always loved water wisteria. Easy and pretty.

im using jungle vals and pretty happy with them, the will grow as tall as the tank and the grow across the surface. My favorite reasons for using them there rooted so not as big a pain as stems and the spread at a decent rate.

I'm learning about the corkscrew and jungle vals and like them a lot...and they're easy.
