Drop Checker Solution Spilled :(

Hey guys, so I was just doing some cleanup with my tank and I accidentally spilled the drop checker solution from my Fluval drop check triangle into the water... I hate that design, definitely getting one of the bulb ones now. Whoever designed that should be smacked, cause it is so easy to accidentally pull the cap off and all the solution just flows right out! Grr...

I'm worried though that the chemicals aren't supposed to be mixed with my tank water. There is currently no livestock in there, just plants as I'm still cycling it right now. Should I do something about this? :'(

My instinct tells me a monitoring chemical shouldn't have an ill effect on the tank, but unfortunately I have nothing to back that up. Hopefully someone here will know more.

TPT says I'm an algae grower... I'd like to think of myself as one hell of a Cabomba farmer.

No worries. My cute white plastic drop checkers (the ones with the black o-ring and garbage suction cups) fall off all the time and mix with tank water. No deaths to report.

You're fine.

If fish start glowing, then you have a problem. Although, that would be cool.

+1. I can't count how many times i have done this myself.
I wouldn't be worried about it.

I have done it countless times myself as well, with no problems.

If you want, you can do a water change to put your mind at ease.
