Today we reached one extremely large obstacle - 1000 members. I remember just a year and a half ago only having 50 some members and getting a new one at the rate of .45 per day. Boy have things changed!

Thank you all for making this a great forum.

Kyle

What an amazing accomplishment..... I remember this board in its infancy not too long ago ! I got sucked into it by a post Kyle had left on another fishy board and never left

The constant updates and refinements to this board are what make this place awesome.

WOW!

I knew that would happen sooner or later!

WELCOME all you folks interested in planted tanks and their inhabitants! Ask questions and provide your experiences.....remember the only stupid question is the one not asked!

Congrats Kyle! I echo Buck's and Marcel's comments.

Yep, this site has really taken off. Thanks first to Kyle, secondly to the moderators (the ones in name and the others who do the work without the name - like Rex and Tula).

Wow, thanks, James! ops: Kyle, I was hoping to be the first one to announce that the 1000-member barrier had been broken, but I guess I fell asleep at the wheel. Congratulations to you and to all of the members who have made this board a real presence in the hobby and on the Internet at large!

Cheers,

2la

Congratulations Kyle! I feel somewhat special being the first person to register here, after you, and I said it then and it's still true now. Good things come to those who are willing to work and have passion for what they do. But, the success would have taken longer if it were not for the core individuals who frequent the forums and share their thoughts, opinions, advice, and encouragement. For those reasons this Bud's for you all of you...you know who you are!

Congratulations Kyle.

If you look at the dates there are only 4 people who signed on the very first day 22nd and I'm happy to be one of them .

It feels like yesterday when you were asking me for DIY CO2 / Dr. Jay setup.

Good luck

Regards,
Jay Luto

I'm there! Texas is only two states away from me. Which isn't saying much since you could be 20 hours away from someone IN Texas!
