Shrimp and Snail feeding issues

I have alot of snails in my PFR tank. 2 Blue Mystery, 6 red ramshorns, 10 nerites, and God knows how many MTS.

So my issue is, when i put the shrimp food in the pyrex and place it in the tank the snails are all over it long before any shrimp even know its there.

So my shrimp are not getting the food that they need.

Any ideas on how to remedy this?

How big is your tank? You can add another feeding dish if your tank can support it. Also, try removing excess snails while they feed.

Chad, break it out in smaller pcs and maybe feed in 2 spots?

feed the snails first in one spot once they are all over.
Feed the shrimp in another spot?
