I do 2 water changes about 15% a week. They are in a 55 gallon. I slowly add it to the tank through airline tubing. The more moss and driftwood the better i think. I also always have indian almond leaves in the tank. I used to keep a couple nylons full of peat in the tank, but i quit doing that 6 months ago out of laziness.

Haha ok so you are right along with what I do! I'd say I am closer to 20 than 25% so a little bigger change than you. But I also always drip my water back in with an air line. I think the multiple water changes may help keep bacteria down/ hence no bacterial infections or something. I wasn't looking to change my routine because its working for me. But it is really funny you have almost the exact same methods and have success.
