Me and Maribella(my fiance) went over to Buck and Kellys house today. We had a good time shooting the shat and replanting his tank. I brought over a bunch of plant clippings from my tank and he proceeded to rip out 1/2 the Vals in his tank. I didn't even have to put a gun to his head  .

Just after we rearranged the tank the angels spawned on some sword leaves, that was pretty cool. His angels must have been showing off for me.

Heres some pics from the trip.

Ahhhhh , great time today Marcel, thanks for all them plants

Maybe next time we can get a little better weather :?
I still think that the Kelly and Maribella were in the other room talkin *** about us... :hehe: It was nice to see them ladies hit it off as well as they did... this could be trouble... hehe

After you left I posted real quick over at the Angelfish Forum and they say that the male fertilizes about the same time that she is laying the eggs so hopefully Im all set...
I set up the breeder tray I showed ya and put an aerator in it for water flow. I clipped both leafs and set them in there, Mama and Papa were none too happy with me but its their only shot at survival...Lets see what happens.. 8)

Oh man, heaven save the women - two plant nuts like Marcel and Buck in the very same house! Just how many cumulative hours did you guys spend with your arms in the tank? haha, if it were me, my fingers would end up pink prunes before I was satisfied.

The Angelfish spawn - wow, I've heard of a lot of things triggering a spawn (Water Changes, Change in Diet, etc) but replanting? You guys could be onto something! I can see all these frustrated Altum breeders rearranging their plants to try and simulate migration behavior that might stimulate spawning.

I'll take Grumpy.... but I prefer the term "experienced" as in "Grumpy Experienced Men" 8)

Hey Sam...
My fingers were fine... Marcel did all the "tedious" work... He is the Tweezer King

I would say about an hour or so apart we live Kyle, Marcel just needed to find the gas pedal instead of the brake.. LOL

CT definitely has some scenic drives. I miss New England. Down here in Southern MS, we've got pine trees, sand and clay. No mountains, no curvy roads.

I sorely miss NE as well....being raised in Mass and then Maine....New Mexico, while beautiful, just does not get green enough. There is also NO RAIN here....I miss that too!

I love the change of seasons... of course the fall being my favorite time of year... Trees are starting to crank it up now...I cant believe the reds in the woodline behind my barns... its an incredible sight to see at sunset.

This is going to be a great fall season for the foliage hunters !
