All I'm interested in is seeing the Yankees getting KILLED    !!!!! (hint: note my location)

You do all know that if the Twins beat the Yankees (which my pure LUCK of the Yankees they didn't) that the Red Sox would be ANIHILATED, right?!?!

If the Yankees win, I'll probably go into denial and need all sorts of psychotherapy or something, so you better make sure those Red Sox win, Buck!

GOOOOO SOOOOOOXXXXXXX!

I have no fingernails left after the nailbiter the other night and when that announcer said "Bill Buckner" I thought for sure we were doomed... BUT NO! The SOX prevailed!

Easy there Tim. I wouldn't call it "pure Luck". I'd call it "pure pitching"!

I wonder if the Cub and Red Sox fans really realize that if they should actually win a world championship, they will be just another team. A team like the Phillies, Blue Jays, Twins, etc. Everything that makes these two teams special (or notorious) will be gone. The will and optimism that makes these two teams, and their fans, so compelling will be gone.

LONG LIVE THE EVIL EMPIRE!!!

I'm originally from NJ so I've been a Yankee fan since I was a kid. And the fact that everyone I know hates them makes me love them even more. I love Derek Jeter's quote about loving to hear the cheers of a home crowd almost as much as the jeers of an away field.

That said, I'm personally swept up in the romance of the Cubs possibly winning their first World Series in a century. Even if it came down to a Cubs/Yankees series, I'd still root for the Cubs. I can't believe the Marlins laid down last night after fighting so hard for that first win. This is going to be a good series.

They will smash Clemons out of his game by the 3rd inning, he knows they got his number and they will be playing some long ball on him !
Tonight they need the defense cuz petite gives 'em a hard time
