Hey all this is a question to the Canadian members that dose their planted tanks with the Ei method... Where do you guys purchase your ferts from? Store or online? Internationaly or locally? Have you ever had an issues with customs if internationally?

I bought my dry fertilizers at a hydroponics store. My husband grows some plants hydroponically and when I complained to him about not being able to find KNO3 or KH2PO4 he told me his hydroponic store supplied it. I paid $13 for 2 large containers of the stuff. If you have a hydroponic store or two in your town and didn't want to wait for shipping, you could give this a shot. Not all of them carry it though, I know I visited a few who told me that I was better off buying pre-mixed but I ignored them I know I could get it cheaper on-line but I don't think the extra cost of purchasing locally is really a huge deal and I like not having to wait for shipping.
