Fluval G3 questions
I need longer hoses for the G3. Other then the fluval brand what can I use. This is the first canister I have ever bought did I do ok? I want to make nice curves as this is in my kitchen on the counter. Can I use some nice brass elbows for the corners?
Thanks all for the newb questions... |

Whatever 5/8" hose works fine. However, I've tried others out there (like from home depot) and they aren't nearly as soft/flexible as the Fluval one. In fact, I ended up buying the G replacement hoses because I preferred them so much more. There's nothing worst than trying to get a lily pipe or spray positioned correctly only to have the hose move it because it's so not-flexible!

Somewhere a while back someone posted a link to a site that had clear PVC fittings... they looked really nice... I don't know if they are available in the right size for 5/8" ID tubing though.
