Plant suggestions :)
Hey guys, this is my new 2foot planted tank.
I set it up about 2-3 days ago, and im in need of some plant suggestions for this awesome tank. Im trying to go for a old/ancient look. so thats why i got some anubias attached to some higher up branches so the roots can grow downwards "making it look older". I love the hardscape completely, so i wanna find some plants thatll fit into it really well. im using two led strips that is producing enough light till i get my hagen glo 2ft t5ho and i hob untill i get my fluval canister. Its going through the new tank syndrome, so bear with some of the cloudy photos. the foreground will be planted with hc for sure, so do you guys have any suggestions on what plants and "WHERE TO LOCATE THEM IN THE TANK" This is the hardscape http://s1325.beta.photobucket.com/us...tml?sort=3&o=3 Flooded and some anubias http://s1325.beta.photobucket.com/us...tml?sort=3&o=2 And this is the tank in the new tank syndrome stage with a few crypts http://s1325.beta.photobucket.com/us...tml?sort=3&o=1 Let me know a list of plants to buy and where you think i should plant them. (background, midground or foreground/ left or right) Thanks aquaticlife93 |

I think a bunch of blyxa japonicas for the background look awesome. More anubias on the DW would be awesome too.

How large do they grow? Wouldn't they be more of a mid ground type of plant? If I'm thinking on the right plant haha

They will grow up to 3 inches. It would be cool to plant them in between the DW creating a bushy look
