2 x dwarf puffers in 5 gal??

Hey there. Just enquiring about dwarf puffers before I get them. What are people's experience with them and what sort of stocking can you get away with? I know most places recommend 1 per 4-5gal.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had 3 in a heavily planted 5 gal along with cherry shrimp and they did fine.

That's good to know. Mine's pretty heavily planted and lots of places to hide. I'd hopefully get two females just to be safe. I would just be gutted if they ended up fighting or getting stressed out. What did you feed them?

I kept 3 in a 4g until I moved them out to a larger tank. Feed them snails of any kind, black worms, frozen bloodworms.

Yeah I heard snails are the main thing they love. I'm sure a place local will give me some and also have fresh bloodworms for them. Thanks for the advice. I feel a lot happier knowing I can provide the little guys a suitable home :-)
