Submitting pics of my aquariums on this site never works....

Hello fellow nature lovers.....Ive tried several times to submit pics of my 2 aquariums, and when I try, it sends me the message..."PHOTO TOO LARGE,blah,bl;ah,blah".......I'd really like to put some pics of my creations on here, but I don't know the 1st thing about re-sizing them....is that something I need to do to my pics BEFORE I try to put them on here??? Im such a computer buffoon, most of it is Greek to me...Im lucky to surf the net, and do e-mail.......your help is ALWAYS appreciated!!

Save them to a photohosharing site like photobucket or flickr. Then you will be given an [img] [/img] code for each picture. Copy that code and past it directly into your thread. The picture should pop up after that.
