Just got my kuhli loaches :)

Not a question, I am just happy! I got 5 wee little kuhli loaches yesterday. They seem to be doing well in my tank right now. I already had one full grown kuhli loach in there and they are hanging out with him (her?) already. They are SO tiny compared to my other one. I hope they all thrive in my tank!

I always liked the Khuli Loaches. What size tank do you have?

I have a 4 ft long 66 gallon tank. They look absolutely tiny in there! I can't wait for them to grow

They seem to be happy, they were swimming around like nuts before the light came on earlier. From my experience (and research) that is a good sign

I would love to but I can't with my stocking plan.

My plan is to have:

10 congo tetras
5-6 Boeseman's rainbowfish
5 otos
5 kuhli loaches (we ended up with 6 because there were only 5 at my lfs and my husband felt bad to leave one lonely kuhli loach there He never used to care but since I have been telling him more about fish he is really changing)

I really don't want to over stock my tank.

So far I have 6 congo tetras and 6 loaches. I was planning to get the otos yesterday too but they were in quarantine at the store. Next time. I will probably get the otos and 4 more tetras and then add the rainbow fish the following time I go in. I am going back into town next Wednesday (or maybe sooner...) but the time after that I'm not sure as I am waiting on a non-gilled addition to our family and travelling so far (over 200 km one way) might be a little hard soon!
