my aqua soil...

so i recently restarted a tank i was storing for few months now, and along with it the old AS i had in that tank.

After i filled the tank with water it was the usual cloudiness but after a day i noticed that the top surface layer is significantly reduced to powdered form... i think if i were to plant anything it would go all over the place!

any suggestions? should i remove the said powdered form of AS by just creating a lot of distburance in the water and quickly suck out the entire water?

or should i just hope that it'll eventually go below the top substrate level, as i think smaller particles normally do over time.

please let me know! thanks!
