Can you id this?

hmm.. and now i know how i couldn't find it.. the plants are java fern not amazon sword...wish i would have thought of that earlier

weird...someone asked the exact same thing here answered. thanks!

This started with just 1 on two on a amazon sword (on the the back of the leaves). It's a new tank (my first and about 3 weeks old),

8 Gallon,
HOB filter,
1 Betta,
1 anubias,
2 amazon swords.
Substrate is gravel.
Flourish tab under each plant.
It's currently cycling, PH 7.5, 1.0ppm Ammonia (slightly increasing each day), 0.0f Nitrate, 0.0 Nitrite.
Lighting is just some under cupboard leds on the kitchen counter..12hours (i guess too long)
It's getting 1ml of excel every 2 days (is it too early), 50% change each week (adding betta basics as per dose recomendations to the added water)

I try to read a lot (i'm really enjoying this!), i have read most of the links provided for algae but not found an answer.

Question is what is it... the "thing" stuck on the back of the leaves. Each "thing" is around 0.8 - 1.0cm across from tip of brown stalk to tip of brown stalk, and green middle is smaller than a piece of rice. There were 2-4 first now a week later maybe 20 or so. I also have some brown diatoms on the upside of the anubias leaves but it rubs off and is minimal.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?
