Kzoo store that has not been talk about here is MVPets. It is actually in Portage, MI. The website needs some updating.

Tim is changing even MORE stuff around these days. He has added 4 ~150ish gallon tanks in the Frehswater room that are going to house lots of fish and plants I would assume. The "L" aquarium is coming along nicely and the fish prices can't be beaten. I walked in last night with krtismo and our other buddy who posts here, I got 6 Corydoras catfish of a type that I haven't seen for sale locally... anywhere... and they were better priced and looked healthier than any other store to boot. I picked up the bunch @ a very GOOD price.

As to the Chow Hound store @ 28th and Eastern, I know Scott who works there too. As many have said already its like a diamond in the rough of Chow Hound stores. Scott knows his stuff and he even said that he can get Hemianthus callitrichoides (HC / Cuba), even if he has to call Takashi Amano himself! lol I've taken him up on that offer.

By the way, Tim has some interesting deals going on some of his stock tanks. you should stop in and see him about it.

Tritan, were you Matt? The Ottawa County Guy? If so, then we were there when you were. I was wearing the Black Leather jacket. The stock tanks are the 70 gallon Acrylics.

Matt, assuming I don't head north this weekend, I'll probably be at Tims this weekend picking out a Hillstream Loach. I am quite perplexed at your fish loss in your tank. Although, not somthing that should be discussed here. I'll go over to that thread and look around a little more.

I'll say this for the purpose of the thread.

Go to Aquarium Services, after my first visit I am a loyal customer.

Hillstream loach, which ones are theses. I am looking for a Kuhli Loach myself. The only one he has is in the display tank and the search goes on. My sister wants to stop by on Saturday and see his selection for her new tank might run into you.

According to Krtismo, there are Kuhli's out at the store thats by Woodland Mall. Adam is the guy who works there. Can't remember the name of it though, Pet Supplies Plus I think.

Hillstream loach looks like a cross between a Sole fish and a Loach. Flat bottom like a Ray but a fish body on top. Yellow with black spots. Bottom right tank when you walk into the freshwater room and turn right.

Bumped into Otis at Costco tonight he stated he found a few Kuhli Loaches in his 70 gallon tank when he was cleaning it. I wondered if he read this post or if it just happened to be coincidence it was like he was reading my mind !! or maybe I told him early this week I was looking for some ....
