buying fish tomorrow

Hi everyone
I have a 40 gallon bow front planted tank. I have some cardinals two balloon rams and 1 male gourami 1 female gourami 2 panda cat fish. I want to add 2 angle fish. Ive been getting mixed feed back on whether I should remove the gourami or not? Oh yeah the gourami are dwarf. If you don't think it's a good mix I would love to her suggestions on orher larger fish that would work in my tank. Im also willing to remove the gourami.
Thanks

That combination you will just have to try and be ready to remove fish.

I have kept angels and dwarf gourami and full size gourami with no issues. There are others with horror stories.

So I say give it a try but do your due diligence and make sure no one gets hurt

Thanks nwa
So before I remove the gourami give it a shot. The male seems to be pretty peaceful with everyone in the tank except the female every once in a great while he will chase her or she will chase him.. I did have to remove another male I had last year. For the most part they avoided each other but every once in awhile they would have little tats nothing serious but I still felt it was best not to have 2 males

Yep. See how they get along and interact and just keep an eye on them. Good luck!

Dwarf gouramis can be unpredictable, so I recommend getting angels the same size or larger than the gouramis.

You're running into a full tank after adding 2 angels. What kind of angels are you thinking about getting? I've seen some marble angels that were reaching 6" nose to tail.

I decided to catch the 2 gourami and bring them over to Pacific. I donated the gourami I figured life might be easier that way. I bought 2 beautiful colbolt angel. They look great in the tank. They haven't eaten anything but their nibbling on the soal wood and stuff. I also picked up for my cube (not same tank as the angels) 9 white neon tetra. Ive never seen white neons before. They ate ad soon as I put them in. I also picked up a beautiful anabus tree. It looks just like a bonsai. Thanks for all your help
