Using flourish comp with trace

I've been using all of the flourish products aside for iron, phosphate, and trace.
I definitely plant to dose phosphorus and iron because I think my plants will benefit from them since they are macros. However, trace is micro only version of comp, will it benefit my plants if I use this with comp or will it not make a difference?

Iron is considered a micronutrient.

Flourish (comprehensive) is a trace mix with small amounts of macronutrients.
Flourish Trace is just a trace mix.

If you are already dosing macronutrients via Seachem Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium, then while Flourish (comprehensive) is fine, you could just use Flourish Trace (this could be important if one is cheaper than the other).

Lol, I can't believe that this slipped all my research and knowledge of plants, I should just stick with flourish trace and skip the comp. I'll just increase the dosing by 1ml each or so, i'll do the calculations later. Thanks for showing me the obvious lol.

It isn't debatable. The macro nutrients are nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. All of the others, including iron, are needed in far smaller concentrations, so they are all considered to be micronutrients. No question, using more iron than is in most trace mixes can be helpful to the plants, but "more" means perhaps twice as much, which is still small compared to NPK.

You may want to rethink using just the trace. From what I remember trace is a lot waker then comp. For instance if you use 1ml. flourish comp you wuld have to use 5ml of flourish trace.

You should use Flourish Comp with Flourish Trace. If you don't have it, I would get it.

I thought about doing that, but i am now leaning more towards replacing flourish comp with envy and trace. What do you guys think?
