Pogostemon erectus and Crypt Undulata
Interested in two different plants that I saw at my LFS today. One is Pogostemon erectus and the other Crypt undulata. I read on the plant profiles here that the erectus requires medium light and the undulata low light...is this true? What are your experiences with these plants? Hardy? Easy to grow? I have a very low tech setup with no CO2 and moderate lighting so I'm wondering if these will work in my tank. All opinions/ suggestions welcome!

Hi Ashnic05,
Both plant species can be grown successfully without CO2 in moderate light. Here is a 10 gallon with 2X13 watt CFL bulbs. I dose Seachem Flourish Comprehensive and Seachem Flourish Excel and do water changes one per week. Pogostemon erectus (back left) and Cryptocoryne wendtii (by driftwood)
