Can I add Glossostigma elatinoides to my tank

Before I waste money and find my parameters are wrong can anyone tell me more about Glossostigma elatinoides ?

My tank is:

Aqua One AR-850:

155 Litres Capacity

It's lit by 3 tubes, the stock Aqua One tub and two T8 Aqua Glo 25W tubes.

Nitrites and ammonia are nil and nitrate is between 5 and 10 ppm. pH is back to around 6.8 after starting DIY CO2. Kh in the tank looks to be 6 but I need to test again (4 direct from tank).

Will there be enough light in my tank for this to grow well?

I'm looking for something to carpet the bottom of my tank so if this is a no go, can anyone recommend another plant? I've tried riccia but it's not really growing - its nice and green but just seems to come apart and float to the surface.

Thanks in advance.

I think you're on the lower end of light and CO2 for Glosso. However, sometimes you just have to try. For ex, if your kH is 3 or 4, it might grow in marginal conditions, while if it is 6 or 7, it might not. Hard to say... but you should just get a tiny little bit and see.

There is a lot of other groundcover/carpet plants... have you done a little search here on the board?
