lol, they aren't supposed to eat plants!!!!!
dude, we got a batch of fish in yesterday and they are jaw droppers... I only have big peacocks left, but i have a few small oddball pseudotropheus and haplochromis cruising my tanks too...

if you need anything specific, i'm always here.

The store isn't exactly local to me, but since Mike CRUSHED any competitors price on the stand I wanted, (and he's on this cool forum) I had to give him my business. The selection of fish was great, they were really healthy, and I will certainly be going out of my way to purchase from him again. He had some amazing cichlids in stock, and had very reasonable prices. Add to that he knows his stuff. While I was there he was explaining to a woman that the frog she wanted would grow much larger and certainly eat everything else she said she had in the tank. Knowledge goes a long way in my book. If you're in the area, stop in and check it out.

Pets place 2, it's near nanuet, ny somewhere. Not sure if he actually works in store or just handles their fish needs, ordering, etc.

I heard some rumblings "through the grapevine" that things may not be going so well at Rt. 4. Hopefully they were rumors & nothing more. It's a bad to see any LFS go. Our hobby is hard enough to keep up.

Hey Guys, been a long time since i posted or really did much of anything on the website, but Rt4 is back and amazing! New ownership has brought me back on staff and really done a lot for the old store and we are open and rocking! Our reptile room is completely revamped, we have a TON of fish and are working on a plant system, as well as a ton of amazing salt water fish, great pricing on live rock! a huge dry good selection and new tanks everywhere!

Come in and check us out!

Not really a ton pf plants yet, but it is a process.

hey guys, we have hundreds of fish coming in at Rt4 Aquarium this week, as well as a fresh reptile section. more plants coming in this week too, delivery will be on wednesday. be sure to check out our exotic catfish and predators too!

You gotta check out this place now, it's like a different store, I literally stopped in my tracks when I opened the door. Really impressive, and they're still doing work on it! If you haven't been there in a while, I highly recommend you check it out. Be sure to check the lizard section, they have archers down there, so cool. Thanks for the tour Mike, that shark is amazing! Nice job you guys are doing, keep up the good work. :thumbup: I know I'll be back.

Only problem is now I can't stop thinking about how cool it would be to have a chameleon again! If I could figure out where to put one, I'd have left with one. Do you know what locale/strain of panther they are?
