Tanganyikan plant ID?


Hi all, I was sent this pic from Lake tanganyika that supposdly showed a moss(?). Any ideas what it is?. It was supposedly taken close to Gombi reserve in >meter of water close to a rocky shore where a stream came into the lake....Jim

Default mystery plant

Unfortunatley this is the only pic of it. I was told it was a moss similar to java and also told it was potamogeton pectinatus(sp?). I have no idea. It does look kinda like java if its allowed to grow wild...Jim

I googled potamageton pectinatus and that doesn't look like the plant in the photo. If it is an aquatic moss possibly new to the hobby I would like to find a sample somewhere.
