Popular weights for holding down driftwood?

Hey all,

Just put a piece of manzanita in my tank for the first time (and had not soaked it at all). It floats, obviously, and it is too big to put in a pot and boil. What are some weights that I could use to hold it down? I would prefer not to glue it to slate and use that method.

Putting a rock on top of it always worked for me.
