can you use aqua soil for a terrarium

I have a nano tank that has developed a v. slow leak , i have 5-7 cm of aqua soil in the bottom- wondered if i could convert it to a terrarium -bog type i guess.
does aqua soils need to be submerged to work? - if it is just kept moist would that be a problem.

It will be fine as long as it's kept moist.

I use Aquasoil as a planting medium in a few emersed setups. Works really well.
