Can I add more?

I am in need of some advice for stocking.

I have a 7.5 gallon Mr. Aqua cube with a filter and a heater kept at 78F with low light plants. I only have one betta currently in it. He is tail biting for unknown reasons (I'm guessing maybe stress or boredom). I was wondering if I can add more fish to maybe give him a party? I've been adviced that rasborias and danios will work well but they must be kept in schools. I do not want to overstock. Does anyone have any recommendations? I might just add some ghosties and a nerite maybe.

Also, what are your recommendations for a 10 gallon tank under the same conditions?

My Betta thoroughly enjoys flaring up and ramming into a large spotted Nerite snail that shares his tank. So far the snail appears unphased (though probably pissed...) heh.

I would at least put a Cory cat in it, Helps in eatting unfinished food and keeps the bottom cleaner. Corys come all different colors and are peaceful.

If getting corys, be kind and go for a dwarf variety so you can get multiples. A trio would fit pretty nicely.

As for the tail-biting, I don't have anything more than a hunch at this point, but you might consider if the flow on the filter is too strong.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?
