CRS RO water

Im looking to get some CRS soon but I am trying to get my water right first. My tap water is as follows.

PH 7.4
GH 11
KH 7

My tank water is better (using ADA AS)

PH 6
KH 0
GH 11

So my question is how to get my GH down to around 4. Im thinking something like a 60/40 mix of RO and tap water will get me where I want to be is that correct?

Also if Im using 60% RO do I need to add any minerals or will the 40% tap water give me enough?

Thanks

hey maybe this helps i had to use alot of ro water in a 40 gallon tank. via acme purified water

went from ph 6.2-6.4
kh 4
gh 8

down to same ph
kh 2
gh 4

my kh is still a bit on the high side i guess i usually do between 8-10 gallons ro and 1-2gallon tap. just keep testing while your doing it. ill dump 5 gallons ro wait 20 mins test. if my numbers are good then fine if not either enough tap to get numbers back up or more ro to bring the numbers down.

theres no set method. just test to see what works for u.
