Light for a small tank. Rimless

I have a marina 5.5 gallon shrimp tank with moss, java ferns, a couple swords (I know), and a Banana plant.

It has a hood right now, but I'm thinking about taking it off as the tank has no top rim at all. I am curious as to what lighting fixture would look good.

All that I'm seeing are well over a hundred bucks

What are the dimensions? Also do you plan on growing any higher light plants in the future with this tank?

A desk lamp is en exellent choise.
Lower or higher height,14W or 23W...
