What Lighting?
I have been searching and trying to figure out what lighting I would need for a 30g tall (36" x 12" x 18"). It's a low tech setup and if I can avoid doing a CO2 setup it would be appreciated. Gearing towards moderate/ medium light. Any suggestions?

A Coralife or FishNeedIt 2 bulb T5HO will give you low to low medium light.

Yes^^ thats the one. Weak t5 HO lights tend to work well for low tech set ups. I was actually thinking about getting this exact tank this summer, and what I was going to do was get a finnex fugeray LED, and raise it up a few inches off the tank. My point is, that if you are willing to raise a fixture, you have a broader choice or fixtures and can raise/lower even more if needed.
