Help me place a plant.

I want to include my ludwigia red in my tank for some color, but am unsure how to best go about placing it for nice effect. Part of me thinks it just won't fit, but I forgot how much I liked the red. For now, it's just growing out in the back.

Behind the blyxa on the left, or imbetween/behind the two largest rocks on the right

It looks great the way it is! The color of the red fishes contrast the greenery of the plant. In my opinion, I don't think a red ludwigia would fit in that scape.
It's an awesome scape the way it is right now.
BTW, how many gallons is that?

It's a 17 gallon aquarium. I am seeing where you are coming from on the contrast and I tend to agree now that I have been thinking about it. Blyxa is a pain when it grows so fast! Very aggressive plant. Just don't let it get big and you won't be sorry you have it, though.

I like where you put it. Almost perfect as per golden rule. If you want to do a lot, you can put it behind the rocks and trim it, using the rocks as an outline but that may be a pain with the blyxa. It will also make your rocks look smaller.
