Modern, sleek, attractive fish food storage?
Only thing I can seem to find is this:
Has anyone found their own storage/dispensor vessels for fish food that they don't have to hide away when company comes over? |

That would be ideal, but a little out of my price range. I as thinking maybe some nice blue glass bottles from another industry or something.
I have 3 tanks in my living room and two types of food for each: sinking pellets, sticks, micropellets, crisps... Does anyone here actually use the ADA stand and foods glass? |

Keep fish food hidden.
Some well meaning fool is going to 'feed the fish' and you are going to have to do enormous water changes and vacuuming to correct the problem. |

I hear ya!
I use a small glass bottle w/ a screw top lid that candy came in for my small pellets and & glass spice bottle for flakes. I have 2 other foods that I'm looking to "bottle" also. Been meaning to go to Michaels or Pier 1 to see what they have. The problem is most of the containers that are a good size have a cork top and I want a tighter seal.

Rx bottles. Wash them out well.
Also spice bottles work. Try IKEA or Target.

Good call on the spice bottles, spice bottle search brought me straight to crate and barrel and a set of 6 of these beauties for $10:
http://www.crateandbarrel.com/set-of...-clamp/s491473 A couple reviews says the construction is cheap but it would have to be at that price. The size is about right as I want to be able to get my fingers in for a pinch. |

I bought one of these Magnetic Spice tin and it works well because the top rotates to allow different quantities of food to dispense.
It wasn't cheap. I usually just reuse vitamin bottles, you could always do something similar and decorate the outside of the container.

Is it just me, or does this:
![]() Look like it belongs in a mad scientist's laboratory, with this: ![]() Instead of in a living room?

Clever idea actually, particularly if your stand looks like my 10G stand:

Get something opaque if you can; some vitamins are light sensitive.

About those clear containers, I'm wondering how light will effect the quality of the dried food?
I agree with Diana put it away, out reach of well meaning fools.

I throw my containers in a "borrowed" Dairylea milk crate turned sideways LOL..
My fish room looks like a mad scientist laboratory anyways, so people sortof expect it. |
